Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Karna Arc Ventures LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information in connection with Pixumio, a product of Karna Arc Ventures LLC, including this website and its waitlist (together, the "Service"). Pixumio is a product name; the company responsible for your information is Karna Arc Ventures LLC.

Pixumio has not launched. Today the Service is a waitlist with a referral program. We will update this policy before we offer any product, accounts, photo uploads or payments.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Email address when you join the waitlist.
• Optional answers, such as what you would like to build first.
• Messages you send us, and their contents.

Information created when you use the Service

• Referral data: your unique invite code, the code of the person who invited you (if any), and the number of people who joined using your code.
• Waitlist data: the date and time you joined, which form you used, and your calculated place in line.
• Referring page: the website or link that sent you to us, when your browser provides it.

Information collected automatically

• IP address: used to prevent spam and abuse. We store only a one-way hashed version, not your raw IP address, for rate limiting.
• Device and log data: browser type, device type, pages requested and timestamps, recorded by our hosting providers for security and reliability.
• Local browser storage: we save your invite code and waitlist status in your browser's local storage so the site recognizes you when you return. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

2. How we use information

• To add you to the waitlist, calculate your place in line and credit referrals.
• To contact you about Pixumio, including launch news, early access and changes to the Service.
• To understand interest in the product and improve it.
• To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse, duplicate sign-ups, security incidents and referral manipulation.
• To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors): we rely on your consent (joining the waitlist), our legitimate interests (running, securing and improving the Service, preventing abuse), and legal obligations where they apply. You can withdraw consent at any time.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:

• With service providers that host the website and database, send email, and provide infrastructure, acting on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations.
• In limited form with other members: the public "Top builders" list shows a partially hidden version of an email address (for example, "ja•••@g•••.com") and referral counts. Full email addresses are never shown publicly.
• With the person who invited you: they may see that a friend joined using their link, but not your email address.
• For legal reasons: to comply with law, legal process or government requests, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Karna Arc Ventures LLC, our users or others.
• In a business transfer: if Karna Arc Ventures LLC or the Pixumio product is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

4. Retention

We keep waitlist information until Pixumio launches and for a reasonable time afterwards to honor early access and referral priority, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We may keep limited records longer where required by law or to prevent abuse (for example, to stop the same email being used to repeatedly claim referrals).

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls that keep the waitlist database private to our servers, and hashing of IP addresses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email legal@pixumio.com.
• Access, correction, deletion and portability: email legal@pixumio.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 30–45 days). Deleting your data removes you from the waitlist and forfeits your place in line and referral priority.
• Clear local data: you can clear your browser's site data at any time; this does not delete your waitlist entry.
• Objection and restriction (EEA/UK): you may object to or ask us to restrict certain processing, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
• California residents: under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use sensitive personal information.

We may need to verify your identity, usually by confirming control of the email address, before acting on a request. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

7. International transfers

Karna Arc Ventures LLC is based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under the age of majority where you live, ask a parent or guardian before joining. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email legal@pixumio.com and we will delete it.

9. Do Not Track

We do not track you across other websites, so we do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or on the site before they take effect.
